Role of DRC HUB
The role of DRC HUB is to propagate the information received by an interface on the 3 others. This operation regenerates the communication signal. The DRC HUB does not require any parameter setting. Its role is:
- Make a galvanic insulation between the PC Server DRC and the remainder of the bus
- Convert the signal of communication of the PC : “RS 232” in comprehensible signal for regulators DRC10: “RS 485”
- Realize a star on the bus thanks to its 3 interfaces RS 485
- Amplify the communication signal when there are more than 200 regulators on a segment of bus. For more information: See the DRC bus topology
